“No Polar Bears” is a multimedia projects about Antarctica and ukrainian research base “Vernadskyi”. But it is also a very personal dream to see Antarctica to tell about it: words, facts, stories, images, colors, sounds, smells, silence. Tell it so that it feels as if an invisible hook has grabbed you by the collar or sleeve and carried you to Argentina, the southernmost city in the world.
With this project I want to propose an alternative view on the history of the base and attract more attention on the problems the continent facing now.
